Find a Shouting Place!

"For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children( sons and daughters) of God." (Romans 8:15-16)


It is very likely that many of you are under a burden of rejection, performance and hopelessness because you feel that you can never break through into an assurance of your sonship. Here is God's solution. It is by Faith! If you are waiting for God to come to you personally and give you a subjective assurance, you may have a long wait. He has already come to you in the person of His Son! Now the initiative is yours!

Find a place where you will not be disturbed or cause a disturbance. By Faith, begin to Cry out/ Shout what the Word declares is the truth. You are a son or a daughter. He is your Father. You have a God-given right to come boldly into His presence and cry out!

Firstly, repent of the words of your mouth that have contradicted the revelation of the purpose of Jesus' work on the cross. He did not come to redeem servants He came to bring "sons to glory," (Hebrew 2:10). You are not a servant! You are a son! You are a daughter!

Lastly, do you hear what Paul is saying in verse 16 of Romans 8 above: " The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit."

Ponder this for a moment, I bet you can't out shout the Spirit of God! Try It!

Now, begin to cry out, "Abba!" "Father!"
